Food Review: The Eighteen Characteristics (Chinese Resto)

Restaurant: The Eighteen Characteristics

It’s a Chinese restaurant located in Cheras, Malaysia. Their menu is written in Chinese and has no English translation. The crew was very helpful and friendly though in explaining the dishes to me in English even though he was having a hard time. It was truly an adventure because I went there alone, with no knowledge about the language. I could have chosen a diff resto but I decided to eat there. I was the only Filipino in that resto but I’m glad they never made me feel I was different. 😅 I guess, it’s about time for me to learn a new language. 😬

🏠 Place: 3/5

The tables and chairs are nice and clean but a bit hot inside since it’s an open door resto.

🥘 Food: 4/5

I only ordered one dish and i don’t know the name coz it’s in Chinese. But It tastes reeeeal good! The dish is served with many spices that I even lost count, but the meat is just a handful. Just enough amount for a budget-friendly price.

🤵💁‍♀️ Service: 5/5

The staff were all kind and friendly. I wanted to ask them what those ‘Eighteen Characteristics’ are, but I changed my mind. I’ll prolly ask next time. 😅

Overall, it was a good go-to place for a satisfying meal at an affordable price. Definitely not bad for an authentic chinese food!
